Today we officially opened the Parnassus Agro Park in Clarendon, a big win for Jamaican agriculture and rural development. This project is about food security, jobs, and opportunities for our small farmers, women, youth, and persons with disabilities. We’ve invested in new wells, roads, and irrigation so our farmers can grow year-round. Over 400 acres have been given to smallholders, with training, support, and access to markets. This is how we move from farming to survive, to farming to thrive!
