Earlier this summer, Animals Asia’s Indonesian partner FLIGHT rescued 10,000 wild birds and four gibbons who were being smuggled out of the country. The birds and gibbons had been poached from the wild and were on their way to uncertain futures as part of the illegal trade in exotic animals.
