The National Park Service has reopened a major section of the Blue Ridge Parkway — resulting in about 114 miles of the Parkway open from Mount Mitchell to Cherokee through Asheville and Buncombe County. This stretch includes beloved Craggy Gardens highlights like the Visitor Center, Craggy Pinnacle Trail, and sections of the Mountains to Sea Trail — just in time for fall adventures.
