Mark Anderson showed up at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Brooklyn, New York, where Luigi Mangione is being held. The 36-year-old claimed he was an FBI agent and had a court order for Mangione’s release, police said. Anderson was placed under arrest and charged with impersonating an FBI agent. Former IRS Agent Brendan Banfield took the stand in his own defense at his murder trial. Banfield is accused of stabbing his wife to death in a plot to begin a new life with the family nanny. Banfield and the nanny are accused of luring an unsuspecting man to the house with an offer of sex, then shooting him when he stepped into the bedroom and then stabbing Banfield’s wife.
