🚨 Mt Mitchell Access Update 🚨 As of this morning, Mt Mitchell is accessible only via the Asheville side of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highway 80 is still closed for road repairs. Trust me — I checked in person. ➡️ The Parkway is open from milepost 382 (Asheville) to milepost 355.3, which is the Ridge Junction Overlook/entrance area to Mt Mitchell State Park.
