WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE A gospel singer, Jim Hill wrote this wonderful Heaven song in 1955. It was the first song he had ever written. A seed of inspiration was planted many years before when a little orphan girl came to his church and sang. At the end of her song she quietly said, what a day that will be. Years later watching his mother in law suffer a stroke at only 50 years old, Jim thought about the little girl that came to his church and what she said and it inspired him to write this song.
