During WWII heroine Nancy Wake aka The White Mouse rode 520km through German occupied France to save the lives of Jewish civilians and allied servicemen. A troupe of ex servicewomen in Barker are retracing Nancy’s 520km trek across France next year to honour Nancy but have been denied funding by this Government.
