Oiling out… one of my finished “mini” pieces. Using Galkyd mixed 50/50 with Gamsol (both by @gamblincolors ), I brush it liberally over the surface. Leave for a few mins and wipe away. It’s as easy as that! You can repeat it as many times as necessary 👏 As oil paint dries it absorbs at different rates and can leave the surface patchy with dull areas. This process helps to unify it and brings back a lot of the details that seem to have been lost. Varnish can also sink into these dull areas over
