4th Alarm Fire – North Ward This morning at 10:48 AM, Newark Firefighters responded to a multi-alarm fire at 48, 48 ½, and 50 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard. Heavy fire conditions quickly escalated the incident to a Signal 11 and a 4th Alarm with mutual aid on scene. 32 residents safely relocated – 28 adults and 4 children. First due: Tour 1, Engine 9.
