Salem… a town that monetises the witch archetype, yet still diminishes the witch to this day. A place where witch hats are sold in every store, yet we as real witches were questioned for wearing them.. by the very official who oversees the sites that draw witches here, and a woman nonetheless. Where we had to explain and defend our craft in a city that profits from the very image it resists honoring. This is the paradox of Salem.. the witch is celebrated as an aesthetic, yet dismissed when lived
