The historic South Stack Lighthouse stands proudly on Ynys Lawd, a small island off the coast of Holy Island, Anglesey. Captured magnificently here by @andrei_buimestru It’s reached via a descent of around 400 steps down the dramatic mainland cliffs — a spectacular journey in itself with sweeping views of the Irish Sea. Built in 1809, the lighthouse has guided ships safely through the Holyhead Channel for more than 200 years. Visitors can explore the former engine room before climbing to the top
