Did you know you can use your leftover tile adhesive/thinset to make tesserae for your mosaics? Simply spread the tile adhesive out onto some plastic and let it dry. You can then cut it up into smaller pieces. I usually use a hammer and hardie to do this, but if you’d spread it out thin enough, you’ll be able to use nippers as well.
