Sheep live in sex-segregated herds—a group will be either all rams, or a mix of ewes and kids. Sheep of both sexes have horns, although the larger, curlier horns belong to the males. Unlike an antler, a sheep horn is never shed; it continues to grow throughout a sheep’s life. These horns can weigh as much as 30 pounds! As you can
