This exhibit is proof that a simple object can become a historical treasure trove. 🧳 By examining the objects found in a collection of steamer trunks in 2005, “How Can You Forget Me” brings the often overlooked history of California’s Filipino American community to life. The exhibit focuses on twentieth century Stockton, California— known as “Little Manila” because of it was once home to the largest population of Filipinos living outside of the Philippines. Through their possessions, this exhib
